Born in 1956 in Besançon, France, spent his childhood and youth in several countries of Equatorial Africa, including Gabon, Congo, Cameroon, and Nigeria. At the age of twenty, he returned to Paris to continue his studies before becoming an entrepreneur in the textile and transport industries. After several successful years in business, he decided to leave everything behind and spend nearly a decade traveling and exploring the world.
Upon returning to France, Christian Guillot devoted himself to painting, drawing inspiration from his travels and the diverse cultures he encountered. His work incorporates influences from Chinese and Arabic calligraphy, enriched by the vibrant colors and luminous landscapes he discovered around the world. Living in the French Alps for more than sixteen years while working as an interior decorator, he gradually gained recognition through local exhibitions, which encouraged him to pursue his artistic career full-time. His paintings reflect a continuous search for harmony, balance, and beauty, creating compositions that invite contemplation and celebrate the richness of cultural diversity.
Born January 17, 1944, in Sarthe, France is a French painter and sculptor. After studying philosophy, architecture, and art history, he worked as a researcher at the French Ministry of Culture and later as a curator of Historic Monuments in Lille. In 1990, he left public service to dedicate himself entirely to art.
Since 2005, Boissé has lived partly—and since 2009 permanently—in Tétouan, Morocco. His work focuses on the landscapes, kasbahs, and souks of Morocco, often highlighting the lives and strength of Moroccan women. His realistic paintings capture the country's beauty while avoiding the stereotypical style of traditional Orientalist art. Through painting and sculpture, Pierre Boissé offers an authentic and sensitive vision of Moroccan culture and heritage.
